Job Role:
We currently have a requirement for Composite Technicians at our major aerospace and defence client based on the Isle of wight. This is initially 6 months but has strong potential to go on longer.
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
- To manufacture and or repair composite tools on a variety of contracts to meet customer, quality and regulatory standards.
MAIN TASKS
- To work with various composite materials
- To adhere to the process/tool drawing requirements
- To prepare, lay-up, cure and finish tool as required
- When required, to lay-up composite materials as composite operator
- Able to read engineering drawings
You must have an NVQ Level 3 qualification related to the industry.
You will be required to work a short period on Days for inductions and training, then you will go onto Double Days Monday to Thursdays Earlies 6am to 2pm Friday Earlies 6am to 1.30pm then rotating weekly - lates Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10pm Friday 1.30pm to 9pm.
Pay rates are as follows:
Days £13.66 PAYE / £17.65 per hour LTD or Umbrella Double Days £17.08 PAYE / £22.06 per hour LTD or Umbrella.
