We are now seeking a Compliance Manager – Airworthiness to be effective in the role from October 2017. The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of the duties and obligations associated with delivering airworthy commercial air transport aircraft. The Compliance Manager - Airworthiness will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of our aircraft maintenance, continuing airworthiness and maintenance training organisations remain compliant with the applicable EASA regulations (i.e. Part 145, Part M and Part 147) and the UK CAA requirements. Loganair is classed by the CAA as being a complex operator and all applicants should be aware of the significance of this classification.

The Compliance Manager - Airworthiness will be a professionally accredited lead auditor or have an equivalent background with at least five years relevant experience. The successful candidate will have a strong background in aviation and will have performed successfully in similar compliance or quality roles, preferably in complex airline organisations, and will need to successfully complete an interview with the CAA to become the Nominated Postholder for Compliance – Engineering.

The successful candidate must have worked extensively in the aviation industry. The candidate will be knowledgeable in aircraft maintenance and continuing airworthiness management; ideally, he or she should be knowledgeable about maintenance training too. The role will also have team leadership and policy making responsibilities.

As a senior leader within the organisation, the candidate must be able to represent Loganair at the highest levels, be capable of working on their own initiative and be able to engage with stakeholders from all backgrounds and organisation levels competently and capably.

As you would expect, there is an attractive remuneration package on offer with this appointment.
