Commissary Driver

The Commissary Driver position is responsible for the safe loading and unloading of catering equipment. Duties include but are not limited to driving large trucks to and from aircraft, working safely on truck platforms extended 15-20 feet high, climbing truck stairs, lifting and carrying heavy objects, safely delivering all onboard food and beverages, replenishing food and beverage carts as well as other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Must be 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent

* Ability to work independently

* Must be able to lift up to 75lbs

* Must be able to physically move and navigate up and down a ladder

* Hours varied including nights, weekends and holidays

* Able to work beyond scheduled shift time to accommodate flight operations

* Acceptable driving record required; Class B driver’s license preferred

* Comply with all Company and regulatory safety and security procedures

* Organized and focused to pack aircraft food and beverage carts

* Adaptable team play

* Clear Communication and Listening Skills to show empathy, patience and consistency with our crews

* Time Management: Aircraft Loading is all about time and detail

* Ability to Problem Solve and Cater to the needs or the Aircraft

* Understanding temperature and food safety standards and compliance

* Understanding weight restrictions and proper Aircraft Cart handling

* Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state and federal safety and health regulatory requirements, programmatic standards, and with any internal policies and procedures identified by Sun Country Airlines

* Qualified candidates must pass a criminal history background check as well as a pre-employment drug test
