General responsibilities of the position: The candidate will be working at identifying innovative commercial solution to keep the engine event at a competitive cost while maximizing company profitability. The person will be the commercial specialist for Pratt & Whitney Canada at St-Hubert (Plant 5) and his principal responsibilities will be to reduce the cost of the engine event to increase the margin. The person hired is able to connect the different value chain element in order to define new tools and implement robust process.

Specific responsibilities of position: The candidate may have to manage the procurement of parts coming from external and internal suppliers. He may have to plan the requirements, place the orders, manage the shortages, and communicate priorities to the supplier and to internal customers. The candidate will have to coordinate the flow of information throughout the different value stream organization in order to reduce the cost of the event and making sure all partners have optimized process.

The candidate will have the opportunity to play a critical role for the plant 5 organization in making sure it meets its financial goal. The candidate will be exposed to different situation where his creativity will be required to solve the procurement issues and implement robust solution. He will also have to support the inventory to achieve the targeted result. With many opportunities and process improvement to be done, the person will be able to distinguish himself with his leadership, creativity and sense of organization. The candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in the continuous improvement projects of the organization as well as in the sustainable development projects.

Qualifications required: · Bachelor degree with 6 to 10 years experience
· Master degree with 4 to 7 years experience
· Bilingual
