CNC PROGRAMMER/ PROCESS ENGINEER

Job Description

* Generate CNC programs with quality design standards and product specification documentation. Design setups, and specify tooling for various types of CNC turning centers.

Essential Functions:

* Extensive CAD/CAM Programming and drawing responsibilities
* Periodically will run the CNC to give instructions for operators to follow the process provided and accomplish what is required, both productively and safely
* Will perform the more advanced operations of setting up fixtures and tools
* Will specify the machining processes and will make continuous improvements to these processes
* Will be involved in specifying equipment and tooling to upgrade the shop
* Completes and maintains documentation on parts neatly and accurately
* Maintains a neat and clean work environment adhering to Company’s safety procedures
* Identifies and orders tooling to insure continues production on the manufacturing floor
* Must be capable and knowledgeable enough to inspect product using precision measuring devices
* will constantly improve and maximize machine process efficiencies aimed at reducing cost and delivery times
* Ensure operator safety and avoid equipment damage
