Position Description:

SUMMARY
Operate CNC or Conventional machines to fabricate parts. Loads parts in machine, cycles machine, detects malfunctions in machine operations and informs supervisor. Supports manufacturing of product to meet company standards and specifications through performing duties in a professional manner within a cohesive team environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Perform typical machine shop operations, change tools and make tool offsets. Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions.

May perform duties such as drilling, milling, turning, tapping, sawing, sanding, grinding, broaching, molding, running furnaces, presses, cnc or manual machines, polishing parts, deburring, ink stamping, silk screening, cleaning parts, using necessary hand tools or other equipment as assigned.
