Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician performs daily machine tool maintenance, trouble shooting, and installation to include power. The Maintenance Technician completes all preventative maintenance on all machine tools and coach other Maintenance Technicians with repairs of machine tools or property assets.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
• Complete daily machine tool maintenance, trouble shooting, and installation to include power
• Plan and prioritize routine maintenance and repair activities and document accurately
• Diagnoses, repairs, and orders electronic items
• Trouble shoots and repairs break down machine tools to restore production
• Assist in Machine tool Preventative Maintenance per schedule
• Assist others in the maintenance of items when repairs are needed
• Setup and install machine tools to include electric and air
Qualifications
• Self-motivated with an ability to work alone or in a team environment
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• Ability to clearly communicate and write legibly
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical procedures
• Blueprint reading, basic shop math, General Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Familiar with hand-held tools; Able to operate drill press, drill jig, mill, lathe and other tools when required
Experience & Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Maintenance experience - repair and maintenance of CNC machine tools, manual machine tools, and associate equipment using a variety of hand tool and diagnostic equipment
