Location: Nottinghamshire

VHR are currently looking for a CNC Grinder to join a growing Aerosapce company in Nottinghamshire on a contract basis.

Your main role will be to programme, set and operate CNC Grinding machines. Manual grinding experience would also be an advantage.

Knowledge of using Fanuc would be advantageous.
- Grinding of aerospace and transmission components to ensure parts are to drawing and of an acceptable standard.
- Use of various inspection equipment, to determine size and surface finish.
- Manual grinding, cylindrical, internal/external and surface grinding.

Qualifications
- Previous grinding experience
- Good knowledge of grinding wheel grades, types and cutting data
- Apprenticeship trained and completed (NVQ/City and Guilds qualified)
- Understand and interpret technical drawings
