The AMETEK Hughes-Treitler Business Unit, part of the Thermal Systems Management - Aerospace & Defense Division, designs and manufactures state of the art plate-fin heat exchangers, cold plates, condensers, evaporators, and other heat transfer products. We provide custom design and engineering services, to high quality manufacturing standards, for the aircraft, engine and industrial heat exchangers in the mobile/marine/avionics/space and missile markets.
We are currently looking for a Cleaner who will be responsible for cleaning, degreasing and finishing of aluminum, Inconel, stainless steel and alloy parts and assemblies
Position Requirements:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:. Other duties may be assigned.
Rack detail parts on racking fixtures prior to cleaning or finishing
Masking of units prior to degreasing or finishing
Manually run rack with detail parts and assemblies through chemical baths in accordance with Ametek’s working procedures
Counting bagging and labeling of parts after cleaning.
Assisting in addition, change and maintenance of chemical baths.
Maintain and clean working area.
High school/GED education
Must read, write and speak English.
Other Skills and Abilities
Lifting up to 30 lbs. is required.

This is a union position and after 30 days the incumbent will be expected to join the union.
