An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chief Pilot to join the Flight Operations team to manage the rapidly growing Offshore RW operations.  The role will report directly to the Director of Flight Operations and the right candidate will have excellent knowledge of GCAA / EASA regulatory requirements and Health, Safety, Security, Environmental, Emergency and Evacuation Practices and Procedures as well as having experience in scheduling and rostering, auditing, budgeting, risk analysis and skill gap analysis. The role will maintain a high standard of operational excellence, with a focus on continuous process of improvement.

This is a full time position based in Abu Dhabi and will attract a competitive package.

The right candidate will have:

Essential Criteria

• 15 years’ experience in aviation flying including 10 years as flight deck crew including offshore experience

• 2 years’ experience as a LTC / TRI / TRE

• Valid EASA / FAA / ICAO or GCAA ATPL License

• Valid Type rating on at least one of Falcon’s offshore RW types (Bell 412, AW189, AW169)

• Instrument Rating

• 5000+ hours total time on RW

• 2500+ hours PIC

• 1000+ Multi Engine Turbine Time

• 1000+ hours offshore flying

• Valid Class 1 Medical

• ICAO English language Proficiency Level 5

• Good knowledge in SMS

Desirable Criteria

• Bachelor Degree preferably in related subject for example Aviation Management, Engineering / Aerospace, Physics, Mathematics, Meteorology)

• Knowledge and/or experience in safety, quality assurance and risk management systems

• Preferred Underslung Qualification (Rotary-Wing)

• Middle East experience

• Glass Cockpit Experience
