Everts Air Cargo was formed in 1995 as a 121 Certificated Cargo Airline. Everts Air Cargo is
headquartered in Fairbanks where it serves as the primary base for maintenance,
administration and charter operations. Everts provides scheduled freight service to 12 major
hubs in Alaska. Everts expanded operations to the Lower 48 when it added two MD-80 jets to
their certificate and now flies throughout the US, Canada and Mexico.
Part 121 CHIEF PLOT
Established Part 121 Air Carrier is conducting interviews for a Chief Pilot. The candidates must
meet the requirements of 14 CFR 119.67(b) and have verifiable prior United States air carrier
experience. The position required a type rating and PIC experience in the DC-9, MD-80 Series or
DC-6. Alaska experience is a plus, as is international Experience. Prior experience as a check
pilot or designated examiner is desirable. This position may be Anchorage based.
This is a full time non-commuting position.
Preferred qualifications include:
Previous Part 121 Chief Pilot or Director (Manager) of Flight Standards;
Knowledge of SMS;
Understanding of the SAS DCT process;
IT skills must include Word, Excel, Adobe (for manual commenting);
Knowledge of Take-Flite Software is a plus;
Experience in air carrier operational control is a plus.
Simulator or line check experience;
Large reciprocating powered aircraft experience (CW-46, DC-6/7 etc.)
