About the position
Our client is a small family owned and run flying school based in Nadi, Fiji. They have an urgent requirement for a Chief Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to work on their aircraft and those of their clients, leading a small team.
This is a hands on role where you will also manage a small team.
Types will include the Cessna 150, Cessna 172, Partenavia P68B and others.
About you
We are seeking an experienced general aviation aircraft maintenance engineer with strong leadership skills for this position.
You will need to be committed to living and working in Fiji on a permanent basis to work on our client’s aircraft, and those of their clients. Working in a small team you will need extensive experience within general aviation.
Our client and their customers will rely on you to maintain their aircraft to a high standard, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and with a focus on safety and in return you will be offered a generous package.
The Location
Nadi is the main transport hub of Fiji and gateway to its beautiful coastline and Islands. Nadi is a busy and culturally diverse town where there are a mix of eateries from traditional Fijian to Indian, Chinese and Western dishes. Take advantage of the warm seas to try snorkeling and scuba diving or visit Fiji’s beautiful Islands and white sand beaches.
Essential Requirements
- Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
- Proven and extensive General Aviation experience
- Recent experience and appropriate ratings to cover Cessna 150, Cessna 172 and Partenavia.
- Strong leadership skills
- Be eligible to live and work in Fiji
