Qatar Aeronautical College (QAC) is a Centre of excellence for Aviation Training in the Middle East, based in Doha, Qatar. QAC currently delivers approved EASA B1, B2 and A1.1 License, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses as well as ATSEP Ground Avionics courses.  QAC also delivers courses in Pilot Training (MPL, PPL & ATPL), ATC, Meteorology (MET) and Airport Operations Management (AOM).

QAC invites professionals meeting the following requirements to join the our team for the position of Chief Engineer

Minimum qualifications and experience required are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or relevant subjects
• Must hold a current ICAO type II Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s license
• Holders of other maintenance licenses issued by other contracting states may be considered provided that such license can be accepted by State of Qatar
• Minimum 10 years of experience out of which minimum 3 years in managerial capacity within an approved maintenance organization, preferably an EASA Part 145, and atleast 5 years’ experience as a type rated licensed engineer in general aviation environment and minimum of 2 years recent experience working in a certifying capacity on two or more of the types of aircrafts and engines maintained by department.
• Should be able to prepare technical reports
• Excellent organization, communication, computer operations, leadership and team building skills are required.
