Job Role:
For our Erfurt-Weimar Airport location, we are looking to fill the following position: Certifying Staff CAT B1 Base and Line Maintenance Gulfstream (m/f)
Your tasks
- Carry out all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on customer aircraft (Gulfstream G550 and/or G650)
- Depending on the type endorsement, release and approval of work cards after the inspection
- Troubleshooting for aircraft systems
- Carry out modifications and re-inspections as deemed necessary by the OEM or applicable aviation authority
- Liaise with flight crew and customer maintenance control center about the status of aircraft
- Perform engineering orders and service bulletins
- Order replacement parts
- Prepare NRCs (non-routine card)
- Conduct documenting tasks
- Responsible examiner for a mechanic team
- Monitoring the team’s activities
- Coordination and division of daily tasks
Your profile
- Completed apprenticeship or training as aircraft mechanic, aircraft builder or related training and experience
- B1 type endorsement Gulfstream G550 and/or G650
- Knowledge and experience with manufacturer’s and aircraft documentation such as AMM and IPC
- Very good knowledge of aviation regulations (LBA, EASA, FAA)
- Good knowledge in Avionics preferable
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English for correspondence
- Must be authorized to work in Germany
- Confident decision-making and communication performance
- Readiness for team-oriented collaboration
- Great ability to work under pressure, flexibility and proactive work approach
- Readiness for travel and shift duty
