Principal accountabilities & Responsibilities:

*
Ensures that all maintenance performed is to the highest standards and in accordance with relevant approved regulatory technical maintenance data.

*
Maintains a FOD free working area ensuring cleanliness standards are maintained within the working area.

*
Ensures that maximum attention is given to the On Time Performance of the company.

*
Ensures all maintenance performed on designated aircraft is coordinated and complete, within regulatory and company standards and maintenance id performed to the correct approved data.

*
Works within a team working environment giving guidance and assistance where required to other maintenance personnel to maintain safe and effective working practices.

*
To liaise with the maintenance control centre and planning engineer to carry out the necessary work scope as required by those areas and within the time scale required.

*
To ensure tooling and equipment prior to use are within calibrated time scales and equipment used is serviceable, reporting to the maintenance manager when items of equipment and tooling are found to be unserviceable.

*
To report any AOG and defect to the Maintenance Control Centre for control and recording and to ensure that all defects are entered into the technical log and ADD log if deferred.

*
To report any unsafe condition to management.

*
To correct any Quality Assurance finding or issue as delegate by the management.

*
To ensure that all procedures are correctly followed as outlined within the OEM approved data, regulatory and company documentation and to report any discrepancies of such to the management.

*
Ensure all aircraft documentation is completed accurately with applicable maintenance data references and in a timely manner including the use of calibrated equipment.

*
Ensures that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the completed appropriate tag attached. The unserviceable” part of the tag should state the ECAM/ EICAS warning. CMS/ CFDS maintenance message of fault code etc.

*
Develops and coaches junior staff in all aspects of aircraft maintenance.

*
Behaves in a manner which reflects a professional approach when dealing with employees, other Safi Department and external customers.

*
As appropriate, wears equipment provided by the company for health and safety reason and corporate image.

*
To perform Pre-flight check and routine checks as required.

*
To perform daily stores duties of stock control receipt, dispatch and stock card data entry.

*
To ensure that all personal licenses or authorizations issued by the regulator or the company remain valid and are renewed in a timely manner.

*
To perform any task assigned to him by the Maintenance Manager and maintenance Control Centre Manager.

*
To release aircraft to service within the regulatory and company requirements.
