CCAD: Technical Advisor- Aeronautical Engineering
Responsibilities:
Researches, designs, develops, and tests structures, turboshaft engines, and control subsystems for rotary wing aircraft. Analyzes aerospace product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine designs, which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods. Evaluates new technologies for application in improving design of aerospace systems. Plans, coordinates, directs, and evaluates testing of aerospace systems. Performs risk assessment of aerospace systems and generates risk mitigation plans and strategies Recognized as an external (Industry) thought leader within a strategic family or discipline. Guides multidisciplinary projects or initiatives. Progression to this level is typically restricted on the basis of business requirements.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:
Bachelors Degree in Aerospace Engineering required, Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering desired, a related field or equivalent experience. 12 years related aerospace engineering experience. At least 5 years experience working with DOD on military aerospace programs.
May provide work leadership for lower level employees. Recognized as an individual with advanced expertise which may span multiple disciplines.
