What you will do:

The Casual Flight Technical Training Instructor will create and develop training material and teach that material to ABX Air Flight Crew personnel, representatives of the Federal Aviation Administration, Contract Training Flight Crews and in some cases ABX Air Dispatch personnel. This position will also provide technical expertise of aircraft systems and operations to the flight, maintenance and engineering departments. Duties also include the web development and support to the ABX Air Flight Department website. In addition, this position will perform the duties of FBS/Simulator Instructor. Occasional travel may be required.

What you need:

* Must have HSD/GED

* Two years experience in a training instructor capacity

* Technical writing ability

* Ability to translate complex principles and interactions into an understandable format

* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Demonstrate the ability to function well within a collaborate environment that requires multi-tasking in order to produce results within an aggressive time frame

* Interpret systems diagrams and aircraft wiring schematics

* Have a sound knowledge of audiovisual and computer equipment

* Ability to complete an annual flightdeck observation in order to instruct Crew Resource Management (CRM) classes

* Ability to readily adjust your work schedule in order to meet flight training demands

* Meet and maintain FAR requirements for FBS/Simulator Instructor

* Prefer aircraft systems and/or Crew Resource Management teaching experience

* Prefer mechanic, pilot, instructor or aircraft dispatcher work experience with ABX Air, Computer Based Training (CBT) programming skills

* Prefer public speaking experience

* Prefer Bachelor’s degree
