Description

Responsibilities:

* Purchases materials, supplies and services at the most favorable terms for the organization.

* Qualifies vendors, evaluates bids and negotiates prices and terms for purchased goods and services.

* Tracks purchases, monitors vendors quality and maintains a current database

* Responsible for expediting daily repair purchasing activity, including limited price negotiation, quote approvals, and delivery schedule.

* Coordinates with Sales team to fulfill customer needs, expediting, warranty resolution, order status and other relating information.

* Responsible for compiling information and analysis as required.

* Prioritizes repair order activity in support of established business objectives.

* Expedites products/services to ensure they are delivered within schedule.

* Responsibility for non-conformance resolution.

* Initiating various shipment requests.

* Assists the relevant Repair Administrator in preparing Purchase orders if required.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 3 years purchasing and material management experience required.

* Minimum of High School diploma required.

Preferred Skills:

* Previous Aviation Industry experience a plus.
