B2B sales promotion Specialist, sub-sahara Africa

Mission

Within the integrated Lufthansa Group environment, the Sales Promotion Specialist is responsible for the development, co-ordination and implementation of local B2B Sales Promotion activities, with the goal to increase revenues in the Sub-Sahara Africa region within the defined sales strategy. She/he supports the implementation of central/regional B2B Sales Promotion activities and is part of the B2B Sales Promotional process Community and is the interface between the regional B2B Sales Promotion unit and the local sales management. She/he needs to ensure process orientation on all level as well as effectively locally drive impactful and targeted communication of LHG services& products and sales tools & programs to and with relevant B2B customers.

Tasks

1. Execute local B2B Sales Promotion plan

2. Develop and implement local sales-promotion activities to support the global as well as local sales strategy and in accordance with centrally agreed Marketing strategies and guidelines

3. Support the planning and implementation of local events. Prepare local communications in cooperation with local markets and initiatives to support B2B Sales target groups e.g. eXperts newsletter and promotions, acquisition of new eXperts participants, PPB newsletter and promotions.

4. Sales Products & Programs (PPM) Marketing: communication campaigns of new LHG sales products and programs to B2B customer

5. Monitor, evaluate and initiate customer-centric activities together with the local B2B Sales Promotion colleagues

6. Coordinate activities of the local B2B Sales promotion specialists, give guidance and support with the tools and B2B activities.

7. Collecting information from the markets of competitor’s B2B Sales Promotion/ Marketing actions

8. Regular update of the local B2B sales promotion plan, budget tracking

9. Amend and facilitate centrally/regionally provided content on local platforms and programs. Contribute local content, do local/language feedback to translations on airlines specific content

10. Coordinate local LHG partner (e.g. JV partners) input for central tools and platforms (e.g. PPB, eXperts, corporate newsletter, etc.)

11. Coordinate procurement of B2B Marketing materials

12. Review B2B partnerships

13. Ensure constant exchange and collaborative approach with Regional Sales Promotion Manager EMEA and local B2B Sales Promotion specialists.

14. Ensure harmonized B2B Lufthansa Group appearance

15. Cooperation with SN Marketing department – coordination of B2B and B2C activities at HQ level. Cooperation with LH HM/BG (B2C Marketing) where needed.

16. Participation in other duties as assigned

Profile

* Commercial education – bachelor level

* Industry/marketing expertise is required

* Knowledge of Lufthansa Group product and sales organization is an asset

* Required languages: fluent in English. French, Dutch, German is an asset
