The Job
The role of international airline Aircraft Engineer is Frankfurt based, and would work as part of the maintenance team reporting to our Chief Aircraft Engineer. Our Aircraft Engineers are responsible for a fleet of aircraft and we are one of the world’s leading providers of technical solutions to airlines with 60 years of operational experience. Through our integrated service solutions we ensure our own fleet, and customer airlines, have airworthy aircraft ready and available to fly, to and from any destination, around the clock, around the globe.

Experience Requirements:
Category: EASA Cat.B1 Licensed Engineer type rated and experienced on the following aircraft:
BOEING 777-200/300 (GE 90) (mandatory)
BOEING 787-8/9/10 (GEnx) (mandatory)
AIRBUS A380 (EA GP7200) (optional)
BOEING 747-8 (GE GEnx) (optional)
AIRBUS A350 (RR Trent XWB) (optional)
EMBRAER ERJ-170/190 Series (GE CF34) (optional)
Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for completion and on-time delivery of maintenance tasks of the airline and it’s customer aircraft in compliance with the contracted services and customer expectations
Able to make decisions and promptly resolve any issues which may arise and be responsible for performing inspections, repair and modification work, as well as component replacement based on current authorization and training level
Communicate fully at all times with customer liaison engineers, MCC and customer service representatives in order to ensure that all parties are fully informed of any operational developments
Fully compliant with regulatory rules and regulations
Responsible for the standard of work carried out by yourself and those under your control
Responsible for delivering the highest level of health & safety and quality standards in the industry
Ensuring the equipment, tools and premises in your charge are maintained to the satisfactory standard and that any discrepancies are reported to the appropriate departments, both within and external to the company
Proactive and self-motivated to continuously improve the work environment and company standards
Profile:
Experience in aircraft maintenance with a valid EASA Part 66 License B1, plus a current EASA Part 145 Certification Authorization type rated at least on B777GE and on B787GEnx in the last 6 months, demonstrable by a Personal Logbook and/or by a declaration of a Part-145 Quality Manager
Holding Certificate of Recognition of ATA 104 Level III type training
Trained on Human Factors, FTS and EWIS issues
Confident to effectively prioritise tasks, often under pressure with a high degree of customer focus, both internal and external
Able to work effectively in a team, as well as independently, with all levels of the organization
Demonstrate working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation
Fluent in English (written and oral) Any European language an advantage, especially German and Italian. Flexible approach in order to adapt to changing needs of the business and able to work night shifts and weekends
Be able to live and work in Germany
Based in Frankfurt, however willing to travel in accordance with operational needs between our bases
Hold a full driving license which will allow airside driving
