Job Role:

B1 Licensed Engineer 

• Permanent Position (Contract work may be considered) 
• Locations - Aberdeen, Glasgow, Dundee, Inverness, Edinburgh 
• With SAAB 340 or SAAB 2000 or E170/190 Type rating salary at £52,000 to £53,000
• Without type rating salary paid at £45,000 until type rating of SAAB 340 or 2000 Gained. (Full type rating training provided)
• Shift allowance paid at £8,324 for anyone working in Aberdeen 
• Overtime rates paid at 1.5 or Double time. 
• Different shift pattern:
  4 on 4 off - 2 days 2 nights - Glasgow
  6 days on 3 off - Aberdeen
  4 on 4 off other locations 
• 12 hour shifts - Days & Nights

Cordant Aviation is currently looking for a B1 Licensed engineer to join a National airline based across Scotland, If you are located in either Aberdeen, Glasgow, Dundee, inverness or Edinburgh and are looking for a new role. 

This role is predominantly working on the SAAB 340, SAAB 2000 or the Embraer 170/190 (the Embrear role is for Glasgow airport on a Line basis) If you do not hold the type rating on the aircraft but hold a B1 License that is fine as they are happy to provide full type training for a permanent member of staff. 

This airline has over 600 companies and is looking to continue to grow, They were originally founded in 1969 and in that time have grown from a small airline flying to and from the Orkney isles operating a single Piper Aztec. Now they have a fleet of 26 and this will continue to grow. 

Essential

• EASA B1 License
• Right to work in the EU
• Good level of spoken English and English reading
• 3 years experience in either Base or Line maintenance 

Desirable

• SAAB 340, SAAB 2000, Embraer 170/190 type rating (Not essential)
