Job Role:
FPS Aviation, on behalf of our UK Rotary Operator Client have Vacancies available for B1.3 Engineers.
These are Permanent Positions based at RAF Valley.
The B1.3 Engineer is responsible for the certification of line,non-routine maintenance and repair of H135/H145 (EC135/EC145) Aircraft.
If not already typed the client will provide Type Training.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- lProvide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.
- lAccomplishment of Maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by Valley Engineering Manager.
- lWork as a team leader and to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
- lCompletion of maintenance, including airframe structure, power plant and mechanical and electrical systems.
- lReplacement of avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple tests to prove their serviceability.
- lSupervision of maintenance fitters and the certification of their work.
- lAlso required to assist in day to day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general house keeping responsibilities.
Experience
- •3 years experience in a certifying role.
- •Experience of Flight Operations and Line Maintenance.
- •Experience of Airbus Helicopters products.
- •Experience of Military Aviation.
