Patriot Aviation Engineering is a growing business based at Coventry Airport and part of the Aviation section within Rigby Group Plc. We aim to provide timely and efficient maintenance service to our customers in the UK and Europe. Our specialist and dedicated team carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and warranty repairs and we are proud to be a UK Platinum Level service centre for Diamond Aircraft Industries. We are constantly improving the services we can provide to our customers, which also helps toward upskilling and development of our workforce.

Due to increasing workload we are looking for a Licenced Engineer with EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence B1.2 with full group 3 piston engine aeroplanes.

Working within a small team of engineers and aircraft mechanics, the ideal candidate will be driven, flexible and happy to work in a busy structured environment, with a varied and interesting workload. You will be professional and proactive in your approach, along with having high individual standards. You will also need to be comfortable working with new and exciting technologies such as new generation composite aircraft.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the licenced engineer will perform a wide range of aircraft maintenance tasks on a diverse fleet but will specialise in the Diamond DA40 & 42 series Aircraft.

We are ideally looking for someone with 2 years or more as the holder of a part 66 licence. Type ratings that would be advantageous are DA40, DA42 Series, Piper single and multi-engine series and Cessna single and multi-engine series.

A full UK driving licence is required as travel will form part of this role.
