Excel Technical Consulting have an upcoming opportunity for EASA B1.1 licenced engineers with A340 type rating to work on a long term flying spanner contract to Asia! Work will begin in mid September.

Based in Europe, you will be travelling with the A340 to Hong Kong or China to carry out the turnaround check on the aircraft before returning back to Europe on the same flight.

For this contract, you will be paid ALL HOURS TRAVELLING WITH THE AIRCRAFT (so around 28 hours) even when you are not working (so flight time is paid!).  There will not be any overnight stops, or hotels required for each flight - so it is just in, turnaround then back!  After returning, you will get 2-3 days off, then back to Asia.

The rate for this will be €37 per hour, and you can expect around 2 flights per week.

Your off time will be at base in Europe where you will be provided with accommodation, and travel at the start and end of contract.
