Avionics Test Technician

Position Description

Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Avionics Test Technician to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Dynetics is seeking a skilled technician to be part of an Avionics Development team supporting the production of airborne electronic systems. This includes independent setup, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, assemblies or integrated systems. The position will require consistent exercise of discretion and judgement in work performance, as well as working closely with other engineers in a team environment. Candidates should have some experience reviewing and understanding schematics and circuit designs and the use of basic electronics test equipment.

Basic Qualifications

This position will require at least a high school diploma and 10 years experience in electrical/electronics assembly, test, or troubleshooting.

Must be able to understand and interpret electrical schematics.

Candidate must be a resident of or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.

Other Qualifications

A degree in Electronics Technology is strongly preferred.

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Final Top Secret Clearance.
