Avionics Technician

Job Title: Avionics Fitter / technician

Location: Luton Airport

Start Date: 24th September 2018

Duration: ~May 2018

Hours: 47.5 hours p/week (07:00 - 17:00).

Please note, this is not a strictly Monday to Friday role and sometimes weekend work may be required. O/T available.

Pay: £20.00 p/hr LTD/Umbrella. + £3.00 p/hr LTD Loyalty/Performance Bonus.

Duties:

Various Avionics duties including modifications and wiring on various Boeing aircraft and base maintenance in a hangar environment. 

Criteria:

Previous experience on commercial aircraft.

Structures capable and possible experience with Sheet Metal Work.

Good sound understanding and experience of Base Maintenance experience (C & D checks) on commercial aircraft.

Loyalty/Performance Bonus: 

The Loyalty/Performance Bonus will be assessed against the following criteria:

Time/Attendance

Standard of Work

Tool Control

Husbandry around work spaces e.g. cleaning up areas

The Bonus is on a ~90 Day review period and payable every ~3 months. 

Other:

Successful applicants in this role would be required to undergo a reference check for the last 5 years of employment. If the applicant has resided in a country for 6 months or longer within the last 5 years, a Criminal Record Check would be required.
