About the Job 
We are searching for a highly skilled Avionics Technical Instructor to be appointed with our high-profile client in the defence sector based in the Middle East. The primary purpose of the role will be to ensure customers’ needs are met by delivering effective training solutions in relation to aircraft Avionic systems.

About the Employer

Our client has a well-established overseas presence where they have developed a reputation for working closely with local partners to support economic development by transferring knowledge, skills and technology to add value and capability.  Our client operates as a prime contractor under a Government to Government arrangement which is in place to provide equipment, support and training to the customer based in the Middle East. you will be the subject matter expert on all specialist training and instructional activity which will include design, development and implementation of appropriate training aids – including computer-aided instruction and advanced desktop training systems – to ensure course delivery and contractual deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

If you are an Avionics Technical Instructor currently in search of overseas jobs or have previously considered working in the Middle East, then this role will potentially provide a great opportunity to take the leap with a well-established and respected Aerospace & Defence business. As Avionics Technical Instructor you will be the subject matter expert on all specialist training and instructional activity which will include design, development and implementation of appropriate training aids. You will use your expertise to develop existing training courses in order to ensure they meet the customer’s requirements, as well as continuing to review the required levels of expertise in order to plan and control effective training in line with technical advances.

Whilst it isn’t essential for succeeding in overseas jobs, it would be a distinct advantage if you have previous experience of working in the aerospace & defence sector in a Middle East country.  Given the nature of the job, it will also be helpful if you have meticulous attention to detail and can operate to strict deadlines without compromising standards and quality.

About the Person

The ideal candidate for the position of Avionics Technical Instructor will most likely hold a Diploma or equivalent qualification in Military Aircraft Avionics. It would be a distinct advantage if you are a Graduate of an advanced military training establishment with 5 years’ practical experience across the full range of Aircraft Avionics Systems.

You should be able to demonstrate experience of working within a complex operational training environment - with at least 2 years’ recent instructional experience in order to succeed in your position as Avionics Technical Instructor.
