Job Role:
Dynetics, an employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Avionics System Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Individual will provide Systems Engineering support across multiple programs. Write requirements for the Systems Requirement Document (SYRD) and other Engineering Requirements Documents. Write and execute tests for performing operational and functional tests.
Additional Systems Engineering duties will include:
* decompose specifications and develop lower level requirements documents.
* track requirements traceability to the subsystems and components.
* develop Functional block diagrams
* Review schematics
* Review BOMs
* develop and assist in the development of interface design
* conduct design margin analysis
* have familiarity with Reliability Analysis, Safety & Hazard Assessment, Fault Tree Analysis
* Develop and review Test Plans (Master Test Plan, showing DVT, ATP, QUAL matrix
Basic Qualifications
* BS in Engineering from ABET accredited college with 7+ years of experience in requirements development and/or testing.
* Experience with DOORS for requirements tracking and tracing.
* Superior technical communication and writing skills with experience using requirement management tools, such as DOORS, Reqtify or equivalent.
Other Qualifications
* Experience on a major DOD program is considered a plus.
Security Requirements
* Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
