Avionics Service Technician

Responsibilities:


* Troubleshoots,repairs, modifies and calibrates aircraft electronic systems and components
*

Certifiesintegrated avionic systems and components at intermediate levels utilizing shopavionics support equipment and specialized precision measuring equipment

*

Analyzesmalfunctions and calibrates and performs maintenance on avionics supportequipment using calibration standards

*

Installs, alignsand wires electrical and electronic components such as sensors, radiocommunications, antennas and lights

*

Performs continuitychecks and functional checkouts of complete aircraft systems

*

ProcessInspection forms and sign name, as technician, after their work is completed

*

Notify properauthority of any suspected unairworthy conditions found during the performanceof their duties

*

Sets up andoperates necessary test equipment: conducts functional and operational tests toevaluate performance and reliability

*

Demonstratesexcellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customerservice attitude without compromising quality

*

Presents a cleanand neat work area to customers – facility cleanliness and General :
housekeeping

*

Performs otherduties as required
Requirements :


*

High Schooldiploma or equivalent

*

3-5 years ofrelated corporate avionics experience desired

*

Advancedcertification in avionics preferred

*

Strong verbal andwritten skills required

*

Ability to workin a team environment

*

Must be flexiblewith shift work
