Job Role:

Task responsibilities:

Maintain safety of the Cargolux fleet of aircraft.

Maintain the required level of dispatch reliability of aircraft.

Maintain cost effectiveness in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of avionics and electrical components.

Support maintenance and production activities, such as inspections and modifications of Cargolux and customer aircraft.

Follow developments in avionic systems and implement fleet upgrades.

Evaluate Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.

Provide engineering services to other departments.

Maintain proficiency in aircraft avionic and electrical systems and regulatory requirements.

Essential requirements for the position:

University degree in avionics, electronics or electrical engineering.

Experience in an aeronautical environment is required.

Strong IT background with proficiency in computer programming and design applications.

Good communication skills with a consultative approach & proactive attitude.

Responsive and supportive in decision-making.

Flexible with working hours and willing to travel and occasionally work in other locations.

Fluency in written and spoken English, other languages will be an advantage.

For non-European citizens a work permit is required in Luxembourg.
