Job Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing Aviation Design Engineering Consultancy specialising in Avionic Modifications and in the Design and Certification of Structures. The Avionics CVE will be the nominated signatory for electrical and avionic design, and will possess the authority and proficiency to accomplish these duties.

As an integral part of the Office of Airworthiness and design organisation, you will be a flexible member of the team, and willing to combine both Compliance Verification Engineer responsibilities and work level design activities.

As the Avionics CVE you will assist with the Technical Lead for all design aspects and would report directly to the Head of Design.

As an Avionics CVE your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with customers
  • Providing leadership and direction to team members
  • Approval of records and certification plans
  • Preparing quotes and estimates
  • Approval of equipment assessments and system safety
  • Technically reviewing design projects
  • Completing aircraft surveys
  • Preparation and checking/approving certification documents and project design

As an Avionics CVE your attributes will include:

  • CVE signatory level
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • EASA Part 21J knowledge
  • Relevant technical qualifications or degree
  • 5 years minimum experience within a design organisation
  • Fully conversant with AutoCAD and MS Office packages

This position can be a home based position or based in their office in Ireland.
