Aviation Stores Person
We are currently seeking applications for the position of Aviation Stores Person. This position is based at Southend Airport.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain all of the stores areas to an acceptable housekeeping level.
- Ensuring that all parts are stored in accordance with the appropriate requirements of the organisations MMOE.
- Maintaining and developing adequate stock levels in relation to MEL stock for the Operators operated aircraft.
- Ensure all stock is controlled on AMOS.
- Promote the development of stores by addressing any arising issues.
- Ensure stock is booked in and booked out to the requirements of the organisation.
- Ensure incoming stock is inspected for correct packaging, quantity, serviceability, eligibility, traceability, conformity to specification and is free from damage.
- Ensure all calibrated tooling is received per the requirements of the organisations MMOE.
- Ensure that the paper work for incoming stock is acceptable per the requirements of the organisations MMOE and EASA Part 145 Regulations.
- Ensure correct batching in, location and rotation of stock.
- Ensure components are handled and stored in accordance with ESDS procedures as detailed in the organisations MMOE.
- Ensure discrepancies identified during goods inwards receiving process are reported and the item in question is quarantined in accordance with the procedures laid out in the organisations MMOE.
Minimum Skills & Experience Required:
- Certificate level in a relevant discipline or 5 years direct experience in an aviation spares discipline.
- Must be conversant with EASA 145 Regulations regarding the acceptance, storage and handling of all types of Aircraft spares.
- Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Possess good communication skills.
- Hold a full clean drivers licence.
