Collins Aerospace Government Aviation Services/Research Development Test & Evaluation (GAS/RDT&E) team is seeking a Software Developer to assist in the design, implementation, testing, maintenance and documentation of new and existing software in Annapolis, Maryland. The candidate must be willing and flexible enough to work on a wide variety of systems, architectures, and languages, and must possess a familiarity with development on both Windows and Linux operating systems.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or comparable field) and four or more years of experience coding is required.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US Citizenship, for access to classified information.

Application development at all stages of software life cycle

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Familiarity with the following languages is desired:

The candidate will be expected to be capable of working either alone on projects from inception to completion, or in a team of other engineers. The ideal candidate should be comfortable traveling when necessary, supporting on-call projects (outside of normal working hours) and working with customers to refine solutions or support the customers’ endeavors.
