Your role as a Market Researcher
This is the perfect career for someone who’s naturally inquisitive. When it comes to supporting our Flight Crew Brokers in securing new business, you’ll work hard to understand what a hot lead looks like, and then you’ll search tirelessly to qualify the fine detail, including finding the right decision maker within the client’s organisation. Building and maintaining an ongoing flow of solid business leads, you’ll make sure our Brokers are kept aware of what’s happening within the industry at every level. And when you are following up on a new sales opportunity, you’ll be using every resource available to you to ensure you deliver accurate, reliable and validated information to give our Brokers the best chance of converting the sale.
Who makes a great Market Researcher?
You may have some direct experience, or you may not. What is important is that you are genuinely interested in the aviation industry and that you are willing to understand what’s needed and then do everything in your power to deliver. Tenacity, positivity and the ability to juggle often conflicting priorities are a must. You also need a warm and open telephone manner, must be extremely IT competent and you’ll need organisational skills that are second-to-none. As you’ll be working towards targets, you’ll need to feel confident that’s something you’ll enjoy.
