We are seeking an aviation Level 2 NDT technician to join our growing team to support our Defence and civil NDT operations in Western Australia at our RAAF Base Pearce (Bullsbrook) and Perth Domestic Airport sites. Working as part of a small team of specialists, you will be required to conduct inspections on various aircraft components and aircraft at sites around Perth. Some regional or interstate travel may be required to carry out inspections at customers’ sites. There is potential for there to be an “on-call” component to the role in order to support afterhours AOG requirements.

Essential criteria:

Previous experience in an aviation NDT role.

Evidence of NDT Level 2 training, work experience hours and general examinations in PT, MT, ET and UT as per the requirements of EN4179:2017 or NAS410 Rev 4 (other NDT standards may be accepted, to be assessed upon application).

Evidence of current near vision/colour perception tests.

Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Sharepoint)

Australian citizenship (due to Defence security clearance and ASIC requirements)

Current Australian drivers licence

Desirable Criteria:

Certificate IV Aeroskills (mechanical preferred, avionics acceptable)
