Route Development Manager

Location: Wrocław Airport

Job Description:

The person in this role will be responsible for developing the airport's route network, collaborating with airlines, and analyzing and expanding air transport markets to increase passenger and cargo traffic.

Requirements:

  1. Education and Experience:
    • Higher education, preferably in economics, transport, management, tourism, or related fields.
    • At least 3 years of professional experience in the aviation, tourism, logistics, or transport industry.
    • Experience in market analysis, business negotiations, and establishing business partnerships (experience in working with airlines is a plus).
  2. Industry Knowledge:
    • Understanding of the aviation market, including aspects of route planning, demand analysis, and airline strategies.
    • Knowledge of trends in the aviation industry, particularly in passenger and cargo operations.
  3. Analytical and Strategic Skills:
    • Ability to analyze market data and formulate route development strategies.
    • Experience in preparing and presenting reports and business analyses.
  4. Language Proficiency:
    • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written (C1 level or higher).
    • Knowledge of additional foreign languages will be an advantage.
  5. Communication and Negotiation Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Experience in business negotiations and building long-term relationships with partners.
  6. Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
    • Experience with analytical tools (e.g., MIDT, AirportIS, Tableau – an asset).
  7. Personal Attributes:
    • Goal- and results-oriented.
    • Creativity and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
    • Initiative and ability to make independent decisions.
  8. Mobility and Flexibility:
    • Willingness to travel for business (domestic and international).
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing organizational needs.
