Qatar Aeronautical College (QAC) is a Centre of excellence for Aviation Training in the Middle East, based in Doha, Qatar. QAC currently delivers approved EASA B1, B2 and A1.1 License, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses as well as ATSEP Ground Avionics courses. QAC also delivers courses in Pilot Training (MPL, PPL & ATPL), ATC, Meteorology (MET) and Airport Operations Management (AOM).
QAC invites professionals meeting the following requirements to join our team for the position of;
ATC Instructor
Minimum qualifications and experience required are:
- should hold an ATC license endorsed with at least any one of the following ATC ratings:
- Aerodrome Control, Approach non-surveillance, Approach surveillance, Area non-surveillance, Area surveillance.
- Should hold Diploma or certificates in the following;
- Instructional techniques, ATC Simulator Training
- ICAO English Proficiency - level 5.
- Additional training in ATM related fields such as SAR, CNS/ATM, OJTI or AIS would be an added advantage.
- At least 5 years of industry experience at an International Airport as an Air traffic Controller and minimum 2 years of experience as an ATC Instructor at an approved ATS college.
- Good experience in conducting simulator training and evaluations of students’ performance.
- Excellent skills in: organization, interpersonal, management, computer operations, Automated ATC Simulator operations and communication skills.
