Carbon60 are seeking an Associate Engineer for our large international well know Aerospace Company based in Gloucester. You will join the Product Development Engineering team, This is a crucial role to the business as you will support our customers design, development and testing requirements on new products destined for flight critical aircraft hydraulic systems.
Responsibilities:
Within this role you will learn from and work with other Engineers within the team. This is to design and develop complex hydraulic products to solve engineering problems.
This exciting role will include a broad range of engineering disciplines including; 3D and 2D design of parts and assemblies, analysis of test data, assembly and test of products, report writing, finite element analysis, statistical analysis, mathematical modelling and development/qualification testing.
The ideal candidate will come from a Mechanical Engineering background who is interested and passionate to develop there hydraulic design and engineering skills, paired with enthusiasm, drive and motivation to progress and excel in the role and this large successful organisation.

Key areas of experience:
HND (or equivalent) or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but is not essential.
Hydraulics experience or a keen interest in Hydraulics/Mechanics.
A desire to develop a career in the field of Design/Development Engineering.
