Our Aircraft Group is seeking an

Associate Development Technician

As an Associate Development Technician you will be supporting Electronics Designers in the development lab.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

· Focusing on building prototypes, running tests on designs and running qualification tests in the environmental labs.

· Building electronics hardware from engineering provided documentation.

· Performing mechanical assembly tasks which will include the buildup of close tolerance assemblies, the integration of precision components, and the fabrication/installation of electrical assemblies

· Selecting and creating the required tools, fixtures, and test setups.

· Conducting development and acceptance tests, as well as preparation of data summaries and test reports for internal use and customer transmittal.

· Assisting other Lab Technicians and cognizant engineering personnel in diagnosing performance problems and in defining design modifications or rework of parts.

The skills, experience, and education you will need in this role...

· An Associate’s Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience. A four year Bachelor of Technology Degree in mechanical, electrical or other technically applicable field.

· Experience with accelerometers, thermocouples and other sensors is critical.

· Experience with running vibration, thermal and other environmental chambers.

· Soldering and other assembly skills a must!
