Assistant Manager Capital Asset Management Enterprise Performance 3241

As part of the Capital Asset Management team, you will be a key member responsible for fixed asset accounting and reporting, which include timely and accurate capitalisation of assets, change of asset useful life and disposals of fixed assets. You will be involved in month end closing and reporting activities such as preparation of capex accruals, reconciliation of fixed assets sub-ledger to general ledger and depreciation variance analysis.



Besides participating in the annual capex budgeting exercise, you will also perform quarterly and yearly depreciation and cashflow forecast. On an annual basis, you will lead the year-end inventory count and assist in the fixed assets sighting exercise. You will also be involved in the preparation of fixed asset schedules for statutory reporting and liaise with internal and external auditors with regards to fixed assets accounting and tracking.



Requirements

· Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
· Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant working experience in a large corporation
· Experience from one of the Big 4 Audit firms will be advantageous
· Excellent written and communication skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power point
· Analytical, excellent attention to details, resourceful and independent
· Good working knowledge in SAP and business analytics tools
