Triumph Integrated Systems, Fluid Power & Actuation, a division of Triumph Group, Inc. designs, engineers, tests, manufactures and repairs complex hydraulic and hydro-mechanical aircraft components and systems for the aerospace industry. We are a global leader in the design, development, manufacture, assembly, and aftermarket support of aerospace hydraulic actuators and fuses. Our operations touch all major players in aviation.

The Assembly Manager will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Responsibilities:

* Lead, work in, and promote a team-based business that focuses on providing specialized, quick turnaround services to customers
* Provide leadership in the areas of staff selection, training and development, department planning and assembly, process, and procedure implementation
* Responsible for achieving business profit, productivity, safety, and quality goals
* Communicate with customers to ensure that all commitments are met or exceeded
* Provide total department leadership in the attainment of goals with respect to safety, quality, cost, production and compliance
* Direct process / product improvement programs and provide process method excellence throughout the department
* Lead department to achieving goals in asset utilization, process / assembly improvement, delivered quality and cost reduction
* Ensure communication of key business initiatives and customer issues to employees
* Interface with other organizations and vendors to assure requirements are met on time.
* Provide on-going supervision and counselling for employees, guiding them in current positions and assisting with career development and training
* Work with customers, functional leaders, and internal staff to meet production and product support requirements
* Facilitate the leadership team in decision-making and problem solving and provide effective communication across the plant
* Develop and track productivity, expense, inventory, and budgets with the input leadership

* 4 year Bachelor’s degree
* At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership position
* Ability to develop and motivate a high-involvement team through commitment to meeting customer and organization demands
* Prior experience with regulatory agencies and knowledge of requirements is a plus
* Knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, and standard cost systems
* Strong analytical skills
* Knowledge of manufacturing policies and regulations, government regulations a plus.
* Knowledge of aerospace or complex manufacturing products, processes, customer requirements and budgeting/financial processes
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
* Strong computer skills and understanding of Microsoft office, ERP, Timekeeping programs, etc.
