Assembler II

Position Description:

Oversees UV lamp manufacturing, including but not limited to verification and maintenance of BOM’s, routings, documentation, procedures, test fixtures, record keeping and product traceability. Makes recommendations for improvements in product quality, procedures, practices and design as part of continuous efforts to meet and exceed our customer’s expectations in quality, performance and price.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for achieving pre-set goals managing schedule for in-house UV lamp production.
• Responsible for scheduled maintenance of UV lamp manufacturing equipment.
• Quality management systems responsibilities include but not limited to the investigation, establishment and implementation of corrective actions for the improvement of product performance and customer satisfaction.
• Works closely with quality system analysis programs. Assisting with the development and implementation of procedures, reports and tracking mechanisms for the analysis of performance against pre-set benchmarks established by the quality management team.
• Responsible for technical production of UV Lamps and quality and performance goals.
• Make recommendations to management on areas of improvement as they relate to UV Lamp manufacturing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• 5+ Years Electrical and Mechanical Assembly Experience.
• Knowledge ordinarily acquired with a high school diploma Equivalent Military technical training.

Requirements:

• MUST have strong work history in manufacturing.
• Motivated, team player that can also work independently.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is critical.
• Ability to navigate through general computer functions.
