We are currently searching for an experienced APPRENTICESHIP STANDARDS ASSESSOR to join our established team based in Kemble near Cirencester.  At Resource Group our customers rely on the right people to provide industry approved training to develop software and systems to improve business for our clients. We work with OEMs, operators and support businesses across Aviation, Aerospace, Rail, Automotive, National Security and Defence markets as well as related technical markets and applications.

This would be the perfect chance for APPRENTICESHIP STANDARDS ASSESSOR to join us as you will be responsible for cost reduction against Assessor requirement (contractors).  You will also be required to satisfy Ofsted and employers engagement in the Apprenticeship programme.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Conducting 12 week progress reviews with learners using a reflective style of review.
  • Setting goals, targets, work based tasks, stretch and challenge activities within designated caseloads.

  • Maintain apprentice progression on the current MIS.

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 40 apprentices.

  • Preparing and submitting review reports to LRTT, Employers and Apprentices.

 

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Minimum 5 years assessor experience is preferable more recently assessment of Apprentice Standards
  • D32, D33, A1, AVA
  • Level 3 Diploma in Engineering (Aviation) or equivalent
  • Ability to achieve Enhanced DBS
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards

 

ADVANTAGEOUS:

 

  • D34, IQA, V1
  • Level 4 Diploma in Engineering (Aviation) or equivalent
  • Level 3 Teaching/Training Qualification (PTLLS, AET, TAQA) or above 
  • Experience in the use of e-portfolios (Pivot) to gather and assess evidence of competence
  • Proven experience and training in Safeguarding, PREVENT and British Values
