Play a key role in driving the growth of our industrial product line. The products of Moog are generally unique for each customer and therefore most new applications require a special, tailored design. Customer intimacy and close communication with design and production will be critical to ensure we meet our customer needs and wants.

In this role, you can expect to…

* Work with customers to size and spec out their actuator needs

* Work with design engineering to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated

* Be hands-on throughout the process; this could involve visits to customer facilities, as well as support of repairs and evaluations of actuators

* Travel up to 25% of the time; you’ll visit customer sites, as well as to various locations for field service or application support

* Be relied upon to work both independently and on a team of passionate professionals like yourself

* Experience upward mobility…success in this role will lead to new challenges and opportunities at Moog

The ideal candidate for this position has…

* An Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar concentration (minimum requirement); Bachelor’s degree is preferred

* Two years of related engineering experience (preferred)

* Familiarity with Moog products, or experience and understanding of our customers’ industries (material handling, valves, heavy industry, etc.)

* Knowledge related to hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as component expertise

* Self-motivation and the ability to lead projects to completion

* Strong communication skills – you will often be the primary contact with our customers, so clear and professional communication is critical

* U.S. Citizenship or Green Card, per our U.S. Government and Military contract requirements

Moog Flo-Tork is a global designer and manufacturer of high performance hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical (EM) actuators for nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers, as well as for some of the most demanding industrial applications.
