Our client is a leading global technology and services innovator and have a fantastic opportunity for an Antenna Design Engineer to work on our client’s market leading products providing Microwave, RF Antenna and Electronic Design.  The role involves Antenna and RF Electronic Design. Their products are primarily designed for aerospace applications to high specifications and involve exciting technical challenges.

The Role – Antenna Design Engineer

You will be working with a multi-disciplinary team on the design and development of anti-jam antennas. The role covers the full development cycle from requirements analysis and management, concept studies, simulation, prototyping, build through to qualification and production readiness.

 

Your skills and qualifications should include the majority of the following:

 

• A solid theoretical underpinning in electromagnetic and circuit theory
• Familiarity with one or more electromagnetic solvers (for example CST MWS, FEKO, HFSS)
• Familiar with RF test and measurement equipment such as Vector Network Analysers and Spectrum Analysers
• Antenna design and active / passive RF and Microwave circuit design experience
• Use of antenna test ranges / anechoic chambers
• An education to degree level in Electronic Engineering or a related subject
