In your role in the Program Planning and Strategy team, as part of the CRJ Program Office, you will:

§ Participate in the development of the Program Planning and Strategy for the CRJ platform, covering key areas such as the Product, the Financials and also the After Market.

§ Be accountable to understand and identify key aspects of the business contributing to the financial performance of the Program.

§ Be responsible to propose changes based on data, analyze their relative value for the Program and recommend profitable business strategies. Provide feasibility to key decision makers.

§ Lead the integration of the business case of future projects and investments. Be accountable for the approval board process as part of the feasibility assessments.

§ Understand the key market and customer requirements. Be responsible to define the Program Requirements & Objectives (PR&O).

§ Manage the program strategy related to obsolescence and certification requirements.

§ Work with members of various groups such as Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Customer Support, and Procurement.

§ Create and update documentation relating to the Program. Be the resource person for the internal presentations and the supplier presentations for the CRJ Program.

§ Promote the Program Planning & Strategy and viewpoint presenting to senior management and take part to key discussions and decisions.

§ Present Program Updates to customers and suppliers as required.

§ Be involved in multiple projects dealing with the development of our products and in-service offerings.

§ Support the Customer Engineering and Program teams to evaluate various costs and pricing.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least five (5) years of experience in Aviation industry.
- You should be familiar with the design, integration and certification of aircraft systems or components.
- You must be a team player and also show initiative, a strong sense of responsibility and good technical and commercial judgment.
- You have excellent organizational and planning skills, are able to set priorities in order to achieve important milestones
- You have exceptional communication skills; are able to communicate at all levels of the organization and to all levels of our Customer and Customers Representative Organizations comprised of world leaders, flight crew, maintenance and technical personnel etc.
- You are an eloquent and persuasive speaker with good presentation skills and command an appropriate presence in any situation or negotiation.
- You will be expected to and be available to work outside of normal business hours.
- You will be expected to be a team player, as well as being a leader within the project team.
- You are ideally bilingual or multilingual.
