Analysis Engineer Flight Physics

Marenco Swisshelicopter is a young and innovative Aerospace Company which is working on the development and production of a new single engine Helicopter. The Marenco Swisshelicopter Group has approximately 160 employees at locations in Switzerland and Germany. The first flight of SKYe SH09 was performed in October 2014 and the start of the serial production is planned within the next 18 months.

In order to support our Development Team in Pfäffikon ZH we are looking for a highly motivated

Analysis Engineer - Flight Physics (Ref-No. 50005799)

 

Your responsibilities:

• ·         Execution of sophisticated rotorcraft load prediction tools for predicting aerodynamic loads, performance and handling qualities
• ·         Development of helicopter flight dynamics models based on structural, aerodynamics, and dynamical aspects
• ·         Assess analysis approaches and results, define any required testing with Flight test team
• ·         Presentation of simulation results with proficiency
• ·         Time-effective coordination with other departments (testing, Stress)

 

Your qualifications:

• ·         2 - 5 Years of relevant experience in rotorcraft Flight Physics environment
• ·         Profound Knowledge of rotorcraft dynamic loads analysis, performance is desirable
• ·         A working experience with FlightLab or any other rotorcraft load prediction tools is desirable
• ·         Hold a university degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent
• ·         Good communication skills and experience in presenting analysis
• ·         Good English language skills, both verbal and in writing, a working knowledge of German language will be an advantage
• ·         Good team player skills, self-driven attitude and the ability to work to fixed deadlines
