Job Role:

A great opportunity has become available for an Airworthiness & Planning Engineer to join a dynamic charter airline.

Responsibilities as Airworthiness & Planning Engineer include:

  • Direct point of contact for airworthiness and maintenance related issues
  • Liaising with Technical Record, the Maintenance Team and Operations
  • Ensure that the appropriate company procedures are adhered to, ensuring that the aircraft remain airworthy and compliant
  • Entry of technical and maintenance compliance data onto the maintenance system
  • Review aircraft status reports weekly
  • Responsible for planning scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in co-operation with the Maintenance Team
  • Raise works orders as required
  • Raise relevant documentation for maintenance inputs as required
  • Accepting work orders for scheduled and AOG inputs in consultation with the Maintenance Team

Experience/Requirements:

  • Previous experience in either Maintenance Planning or Airworthiness is essential
  • Proficient in MS office and Excel
  • Knowledge and understanding of EASA regulations (Part M and Part 145)
  • Great problem solving and organisational skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated, flexible with an ability to adapt to change quickly
