Exeter Airport has a vacancy for an Airport Services Manager to manage the activities of the airport services department ensuring the effective turnaround of aircraft in line with standard ground handling agreements (SGHA) and associated safety procedures. The key responsibilities are:

To lead a large team including supervisors and staff so that maximum productivity is achieved
To develop and maintain a set of minimum customer service standards which will deliver exceptional performance to airlines in respect of all aircraft turnaround requirements.
To ensure that all procedures and practices of the Airport Services Department are set out clearly in written statements and regularly reviewed in line with company requirements
To develop, maintain and take ownership of airline customers SGHA, GHM/GOM and IGOM, with a focus on compliance.
To be the focal point of contact for customer airlines and coordinate company response to airlines in coordination with front of house (check-in)
To be the focal point of contact for customer airlines OTP and performance KPI monitoring
To monitor and manage the effective maintenance of all vehicles and GSE equipment
Input into the capital planning of ground support equipment requirements
To work with the continuity team members to ensure maximum co-operation between departments to provide a safe and cost effective means of making best use of available staff
To closely monitor and manage the departmental budget
To set out departmental training plans to include supervisory skills, technical competence and maintenance of training records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
