We are searching for Aircraft Technical Instructors B1/B2 (Avionics & Mechanical) for upcoming Part 66 aircraft type rating courses in SYD, MEL & BNE, Australia.

The main responsibility of this position is to instruct students on the Airbus A320 (V2500 & CFM 56) aircraft. The training will include theoretical and practical elements. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Being able to work in the capacity of a Course Manager,

  • Ensuring the training is compliant to company requirements and to CASA regulations,

  • Performing & reviewing Assessments,

  • Developing and revising courseware associated to theoretical and practical aircraft systems,

  • Development, delivery and revision of exams associated to theoretical and practical aircraft instruction,

  • Participation in continuous self-development of technical expertise,

  • Developing multi-media presentations and lesson plans to support course delivery.

To be successful you will have:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent. (Desirable but not essential)

  • Possession of a B1 & or B2 category license with a minimum of the Airbus A320 type rating, additional ratings desirable (B737 NG, A330, B777, B787)

  • A Minimum of 5 years experience as an Aviation Maintenance Tradesperson, Aviation supervisor, and/or aviation Maintenance Manager,

  • Excellent knowledge & communication skills required to perform the instructional duties,

  • Australia wide ASIC.
